The U.S. Mint was established in 1792. But it took decades for the mint to strike enough coins to satisfy the growing population. Trusted since before the American revolution, the coins in this 1732–1832 Early American Silver Collection circulated heavily instead. The 5 coins have denominations of a Half Real to 2 Reales. Each coin is in Good to Very Good condition, and many have holes in them, often put there by Native Americans who strung the coins on string to carry them. Each set comes in a leatherette pouch with a certificate of authenticity. A great opportunity to own a collection of five early American silver coins for less than $100.
