Description: A handsome pair of antique Edwardian side chairs in mahogany with carved back splats, with a neo-classical design of swags and bows. They have 5 slender central splats with reeded side rails in corinthian columnar form. They stand on slim carved and reeded legs. The chairs are in a lovely figured mahogany with a deep rich brown patina. They have been newly re-covered in a cream brocade fabric. Dating from circa 1910.
Condition Report: Fairly solid and sturdy. One of the chairs has an old mend to the corner of top rail (see photos). Newly recovered.
