Offering an antique English sterling silver watch chain fob. The piece is fully hallmarked and made in Birmingham, 1913. The makers mark is slightly worn. It has a vacant cartouche in the front shield. The rear of the fob was engraved in the 1930s. The engraving reads, "WINNERS WOKING WED. LEAGUE 1937-38". The engraving is less worn than the hallmarks from 24-25 years earlier. It's likely engraved for racket sports, as I know there are several squash courts in the area. Woking is a charming village in Surrey, England. The fob can be attached to a pocket watch chain, key chain, bracelet or a necklace. A very nice fob made before WWI and still enjoyed during the early years of WWII Britain.
